Denver Auto Study COVID-19 Safety Precautions
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, we are taking the following precautions to help ensure everyone’s health and safety:
- Following all state and local health guidelines.
- Screening all participants over the phone during recruiting, and all staff and participants as they enter into the building to find out if they have…
- Traveled internationally or been on a cruise in the past 14 days.
- Had close contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
- Had any cold or flu-like symptoms in the past 14 days.
- At the research facility we will have the following precautions in place:
- The maximum number of people in the 65,000 square foot building at one time will be well below state and local guidelines.
- Everyone in the building, including all staff, will be required to wear a mask that we will provide and have their temperature taken upon entry. You can wear your own mask if it is a surgical or an N95 mask with no ventilator, but not if it is a homemade or cloth mask. We will also have gloves available if desired. Anyone who has a temperature or refuses to wear a mask will be sent home.
- Social distancing protocols will be in place. The study will be run to minimize contact between people and maximize distance between people.
- For this study you will be getting in and out of vehicles. We will limit each vehicle to one person at a time and the vehicle will be thoroughly sanitized after each person.
- Hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the building.
- We will use disinfectant wipes/sprays to frequently wipe down all surfaces (tables, chairs, clipboards, door knobs, etc.).
Refreshments will be limited to select pre-packaged snacks and water.
